ENROLLED NURSE 1 MILLION - MECWA

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Enrolled Nurse to join our team at MECWA, a leading aged care and community services provider. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents while working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for those in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to residents according to their individual care plans
• Monitor and record residents' vital signs, health status, and medication administration
• Assist with personal care activities and daily living tasks
• Participate in the development and implementation of care plans
• Document and maintain accurate resident health records
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members
• Report changes in residents' conditions to supervisors and medical staff
• Follow infection control protocols and safety procedures
• Assist in emergency situations as required
• Mentor and support personal care workers
  
  Required Qualifications:
• Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA
• Valid medication endorsement
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in aged care or similar healthcare setting
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Strong understanding of aged care standards and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and shifts
• Demonstrated commitment to person-centered care
• Computer literacy and experience with electronic health records
• Police check and flu vaccination compliance
